TurInspector is an independent information portal about tourist places and leisure destinations. It combines an interactive map, “Find a place” search, place cards, photos, videos, owner posts, reviews, user ratings and inspection results in one interface.
The map is TurInspector’s main visual search tool. The linked “Find a place” panel filters published places by location, type, primary service price, amenities and inspection status.
Choose “Where to stay” for leisure and accommodation properties or “What to see” for tourist and cultural places, including those added by bloggers. Available types depend on the section you select.
Enter a location → choose a type → set a price and amenities if needed → select “Show places” → matching places appear on the map. The number on the button shows how many places meet your criteria.
“Where?” searches names, cities, regions and addresses. “My location” searches within 50 km of you after separate GPS permission. Loading Yandex Maps and accessing your location require separate permissions; search and the catalog are available without the map.
When you select several amenities, a place must have all of them. “Only inspected by TurInspector” keeps places with a confirmed positive inspection result. Price filtering is available for types and places where the owner has selected a primary service for search.
Each published place has a card with key information, photos, videos, services and a link to its detailed page. If TurInspector has independently inspected it, visitors can also see its inspection status.
The map shows more than an address. You can assess a place’s position relative to cities, roads, towns and other locations, judge how convenient it is to reach and compare several options.
If a place interests you, open its page, explore the available photos, videos and posts, and use its published contacts to get in touch. Built-in messaging is currently available only to internal testers.
For owners, the map is also another way to introduce their place to a new audience. Once published, a place becomes available to TurInspector visitors and is linked to its own page, photos, videos, posts and other materials.
Map information updates with place data: newly published places appear automatically, while places unavailable for public viewing should not be shown to visitors.
Photos and videos show a place far better than a text description alone. On TurInspector, owners can show the grounds, rooms, houses, bathhouse, facilities, surroundings, events, seasonal changes and other real details of their property.
Before travelling, visitors can see what a place really looks like and assess its atmosphere, the condition of its grounds and the features that matter to them.
Owners with an active account can take photos or videos on a phone and upload them through the dashboard in a mobile browser or Android app. Materials with confirmed publication grounds are shown publicly after the required processing and moderation.
For example, an owner can show the first snowfall, a terrace opening, an event, a new house, an updated bathhouse, a sunset, fishing, a celebration, restaurant activity or another interesting event happening right now.
This keeps the place page active and up to date, letting future visitors see recent material as well as older promotional photos.
TurInspector supports photos, short vertical clips and other supported video formats. Materials are linked to a specific place, so visitors can open its page directly after viewing them.
For owners, photos and videos offer a way to communicate regularly with their audience; for travellers, they provide a more realistic picture of a place before visiting.
TurInspector distinguishes information published by the owner from the results of an independent inspection.
The owner of a published place can contact TurInspector support to request an independent inspection. Requests can be sent through the available support channels or to the official email address listed on the website.
The parties agree separately on feasibility, terms, date and format of the visit. A request alone does not mean that an inspection has been scheduled or completed.
Owners should understand the key principle in advance: an independent inspection is not a promotional shoot.
TurInspector staff are not tasked with embellishing a place, concealing problems or showing only areas prepared by the owner. The place is filmed and assessed as the inspector sees it during the visit.
The assessment should be impartial. Strengths may be noted, but shortcomings or discrepancies found during an inspection must not be deliberately concealed either.
That is why independent inspection results are presented separately from the owner’s promotional description.
The compact “TurInspector inspection” block sits just above the place page footer. Expand it to see a summary, date and available result; a detailed report opens separately if published.
If no inspection has taken place, this is stated neutrally: it does not by itself mean the place is unsafe. An older inspection without a detailed report displays a notice that details have not been published.
A TurInspector inspection and state classification are different procedures. The inspected-places filter uses the inspection result, not a state register entry.
An independent inspection aims to give future visitors another source of information and help them form a more objective picture of a place before travelling.
TurInspector brings together information that, when choosing a place to stay or relax, you would otherwise need to search for across maps, websites, social networks, messengers and owners’ posts.
Start with “Find a place” to filter by your key criteria instead of browsing the whole catalog. Choose a section, city or region, place type, amenities and, if needed, a price range.
For example, to find a recreation base with a bathhouse and pool, select the relevant type and both amenities, then set a maximum price. Search will show places listing all these features. The amount refers to the primary service: check its name and billing unit on the place card.
“My location” searches within 50 km, while “Near you” shows up to three nearby places and lets you open nearby search on the map. Location access starts only when you request it.
Every published place has its own page, where you can read its description, view photos and videos, discover services and owner posts, read visitor reviews and see information about an independent inspection if one took place.
Published pages, the catalog and search are available without registration. New registrations are currently suspended while development and approvals are in progress. Existing account holders can still sign in.
An account is needed for favorites, comments, reviews and personal requests. Built-in messaging with owners is currently limited to internal testers; public messaging launch is deferred.
If visitors notice a problem or believe published information is incorrect, they can use the portal’s request and complaint tools.
Favorites are useful when choosing a place over several days: save options, revisit them and compare descriptions, photos, services and published contacts without searching again.
TurInspector does not make the choice for visitors and is not a booking service. Its purpose is to provide as much useful information as possible before a trip and practical tools for making your own choice.
TurInspector lets tourism property owners build a complete online presence for their business and bring together tools they would otherwise need to maintain separately.
Owners with an active account create a place in their dashboard, fill in its details and submit it for moderation. New owner registration is currently suspended; existing accounts remain accessible.
To match relevant searches, provide the correct type, address and coordinates, select amenities that really exist, and add a description, photos, services and contacts cleared for publication. Bloggers’ tourist and cultural places belong in “What to see”.
Enter a primary service price and select that service for search. Visitors can then find the place by price if its type supports the price filter and commercial information is allowed to be shown. Keep the service name, amount, billing unit and “from” price flag up to date.
“Only inspected by TurInspector” requires a confirmed positive inspection result. Owners cannot assign this status themselves. Complete information helps the place match relevant searches, but does not guarantee first position or a certain number of views.
This is more than a small map card. The place page is a separate web resource with its own address, description, photos, videos, services, contacts, posts and other materials.
Published texts and pages are accessible to search engines, so information about a place can also be found outside the portal.
This makes the published page accessible to search crawlers and eligible for indexing by search engines.
Over time, visitors may find a place through regular web searches as well as within TurInspector, including by its name.
TurInspector does not guarantee specific search result positions: final rankings are determined by search engines.
Owners can update their page regularly and add new material.
TurInspector posts can be used like posts on other information platforms, social networks or channels: share events, new services, seasonal offers and changes at the place, publish photos and news.
The page need not be a static business card. It can continually gain new material and reflect the place’s real life.
Photos and videos show the place’s current condition. Built-in messaging is limited to internal testing for now; use contacts cleared for publication for public communication.
Owners gain more than a catalog listing: an additional online promotion channel linked to the map, categories, posts, photos, videos, reviews, messages and other TurInspector features.
TurInspector does not take control of the owner’s business. The portal does not collect accommodation payments, become a party to transactions or interfere with booking terms and settlements between owners and guests.
Every published TurInspector place gets its own public web page.
It brings together information that is usually spread across many sources: a description, photos, videos, services, contacts, owner posts, user reviews, inspection results, location and other details.
For visitors, it is one place to get to know the property before travelling.
For owners, the page gradually becomes a complete online resource for their place.
Instead of photos on one platform, news on another, videos on a third, reviews on a separate service and contacts found through search engines, TurInspector brings the main materials into one connected system.
The place page is linked to the map, TurInspector categories, photos, videos, posts, reviews, messages and other portal sections.
The existing SEO architecture makes published pages accessible to search crawlers and able to appear in search results.
As TurInspector develops, the capabilities of place pages will also expand.
Project development should take account of real owner and visitor requests received by support. Useful recurring suggestions from participants can form the basis for new features.
The aim is to develop a simple place card into a unified information and marketing system that helps owners present their place, publish current material and communicate with potential guests.
TurInspector’s built-in messenger is currently available only to internal testers. Public messaging launch is deferred; having an account alone does not grant access to messages.
Test participants can contact owners, clarify terms and exchange messages and supported attachments. Other visitors can use the contact details published on the place page.
If a conversation already exists, users can continue it. A first contact creates a new conversation within the existing messaging system.
Visitors can also contact TurInspector administration and support through the portal about website operation, published information, accounts, places, moderation and other matters covered by the request system.
Messages therefore serve both communication between travellers and owners and as one way for users to contact the TurInspector team.
Public topic-based chats are not currently available. Support requests and reports about materials remain separate portal features.
TurInspector provides a technical communication channel but does not become a party to agreements between owners and guests or interfere with payment or booking.
Favorites bring together all the places that catch your interest while searching.
A personal list requires signing in to an existing account. New user registration is currently suspended.
You can then add a place to favorites instead of having to find it again on the map, in categories or among search results.
This is especially useful when choosing a place on your phone.
Over several days, visitors can find interesting options and gradually build their own list.
When it is time to decide, open “Favorites” and focus on the places you have already selected.
From favorites, you can return to photos, videos, services and published contacts. Messaging owners is available only to internal testers.
If an owner’s phone number is published on the place page, visitors can use it to contact them directly, subject to their device’s capabilities.
This saves time: instead of searching again for every appealing place, visitors build and work with their own collection.
It is particularly convenient compared with repeatedly finding promising places among many results on different websites and services.
TurInspector notifications inform users about important events within the portal: new replies, changes and other actions related to their account.
For owners, the dashboard also brings together management of places, photos, videos, posts, messages and available statistics.
TurInspector is developing as a service that is convenient to use while travelling and choosing a place to stay or relax.
On a smartphone, you can use “Find a place”, the map, categories, place pages, photos and videos. Favorites and the dashboard require sign-in; messaging is currently limited to internal testing.
The mobile interface is optimized for small screens and lets you use TurInspector’s main features without a computer.
Phone location helps find nearby places after you select “My location” or “Show nearby places” and grant separate device permission. Consent to Yandex Maps does not enable GPS by itself.
Owners can use a smartphone on their property to photograph new events, record videos and quickly upload material to TurInspector.
The mobile app is part of TurInspector’s shared system and develops alongside the portal.
Android already supports account event notifications when the device allows them. Delivery depends on connectivity, phone settings and whether the feature is available for the account.
Further development of internal communication is also planned, to make messaging on a smartphone closer in convenience to modern messaging apps.
On other devices, you can use the mobile website; a separate iOS app is not currently offered.
